Why Heramba Dance Festival

Heramba Dance Festival was conceived with the vision of showcasing the rich and diverse heritage of Indian classical dance to audiences in Visakhapatnam. The festival stands as a celebration of artistry, discipline, and devotion— bringing together professional dancers from across the country to present performances of the highest calibre

For me, dance has always been more than an art form—it is a part of my identity, something I feel deeply connected to. Whenever I truly value something, I feel the need to preserve it and share it with others. Heramba embodies that very spirit. Through this festival, I hope to safeguard and spread the beauty of classical dance, creating a space where tradition and excellence come together in harmony
